Sen. Elizabeth Warren “…hold institutions and individuals accountable for breaking the rules” (10-23-13)

  • Key Issues/ Talking Points from the Week:

    • Sen. Warren took the SEC and OCC to task for failing to bring bad actors to justice, while the TARP office with much less resources has secured 107 convictions. Looks as if the senator is honing her critique of federal bank regulation.

    • Senator Warren Highlights Enforcement Record of SIGTARP, Questions Fed, SEC, OCC (10-23-13)
    • announces a new service where politicians can respond to and interact with the online petitions directed to them. Sen. Warren and Paul Ryan are the first two big names to use it.
